Skagit DVSAS provides free confidential services to any victim of domestic violence or sexual assault, recent or past. We also assist family members and friends of those who have been assaulted or abused.
It is our mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault in our community through empowerment, advocacy, education, awareness, and action for social change regardless of age, gender, race, color, religion, culture, national origin, sexual orientation, economic status, or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability.

Weekly Domestic Violence Psycho-educational Support Group
An open, drop-in group held on Wednesdays nights in Mount Vernon For all women who are current or former survivors of verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse by an intimate partner. We will cycle through a series of topics such as What is DV?, Types of Abuse, Cycle of Abuse, Coping Skills, Affects of Abuse, Healing from Trauma, Guilt & Shame, Grief & Loss, Healthy Relationships, Boundaries, and many other topics. Groups consist of an educational piece surrounding a topic and times for group discussion and support. Childcare provided.
Parenting Support Group for Domestic Violence Survivors
A 10-12 week closed group held on Tuesdays mornings in Burlington. Starting date still to be determined. For all mothers who are survivors of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse by an intimate partner. This group will discuss effects of DV on children and mothers and provide education and support surrounding parenting challenges due to intimate partner DV. Weekly Sexual Assault Psycho-Educational Support Group for Women
A 10 week closed group held on Thursdays in the afternoon at our office. For all women who are survivors of sexual assault.
